The Coats HIT 5000 Rim Clamp Heavy Duty Tire Changer Review
The Coats HIT 5000 is a phenomenal tire changing machine. This heavy duty machine can handle both tube tires and tubeless tires all with rim diameters of up to fifteen inches to thirty eight inches. This tire changer is very easy to use since it has a swing arm that houses all hydraulic controls. It also has a dedicated that is there for each powered function while the technician is using it. It has a self center hydraulic clamping chuck, and it has an adjustable pressure regular that is in place to ensure that there will be proper matching of the chuck pressure to the strength of the rim.
The Coats HIT 5000 has heavy tapered roller bearings and a dual direction hydraulic motor that was put in it to provide smooth torque while using it. This tire changer has quality. This wheel changing machine is low in cost, and it’s a heavy duty American made tire machine that can accommodate almost any wheel that comes through your business’s doors. It was designed and conceived to be able to handle large truck tires that have heavy sidewalls including those with run flats of that type. This rim clamp tire changer by Coats handle run flat tires that have heavy side walls and no inner liners, and it can also handle tires that have those two piece bolts that are together with those inner liners.
The Coats HIT 5000 also features a smooth electro hydraulic power that is there to give the technician using it “fault free” performance, its easy to use swing arms has all the hydraulic controls on it with an added dedicated lever to handle each powered function. The preset pressure bypass valve that is in this machine is there to prevent any hydraulic system overload that could happen if it get damaged in any way. This Coats tire changer can be ordered and used handle a 220 volt singer phase, a 220 volt three phase, and even a 110 volt single phase power.
