The Top 10 Attractions in Branson, Missouri
This museum is anything but ordinary, and a visit is truly entertaining. The museum is home to several outfits originally owned and worn by several past First Ladies, and there are also several exhibits featuring some of the personal items from the estates of President Lincoln, President Roosevelt and President Kennedy.
4. Ripley’s Believe It or Not Museum
This museum is one of the most popular and exciting tourist destinations in the entire city. There are several hundred items in the museum that have entertained and surprised visitors for decades. The building that houses the museum was built to look like it was a victim of the earthquake that hit Missouri in 1812.
5. Silver Dollar City
Silver Dollar City is a theme park that is a favorite among visitors of all ages. Silver Dollar City is an amusement park with an “Old West” style theme. The employees are dressed up as if they lived in the Wild West. Silver Dollar City has music theaters, roller coasters, restaurants, arts, and crafts, located in the park. A lot of fun for the kids and for adults as well.
White Water is another popular attraction when people visit Branson. It is a water park that has wave pools, and huge water slides to cool you off during the hot summer months. White Water is located on the main highway strip that runs right through the heart of Branson.
Outlet malls are another reason why tourists visit branson. The three main outlet malls in Branson are called “The Tanger Mall”, “Red Roof Outlet Center”, and “The Branson Landing.” There are hundreds of outlet stores ranging from Reebok, to Bass Pro Shops.
The Showboat Branson Belle is a huge attraction for tourists. The Branson Belle is a cruise ship that takes you on Table Rock Lake. You are treated to a very delicious 4 course meal, a great music show, and cruise around the lake. You are allowed to walk on the upper deck and take pictures of the majestic views on the lake.
Branson, Missouri is a beautiful place to visit and is very family oriented.
Branson’s nickname is the live country music capital in the USA and it is well deserved. And live country music isn’t all that Branson has to offer. There’s a wide variety of shows that will please just about any audience. From Broadway like musicals to southern gospel favorites and shows that take audiences back to eras gone by. If you’ve ever missed one of your favorite stars you can see some of the greatest impersonators at Legends – it’s as close as you can get to the real stars! Most of the shows offer nothing less than a foot stomping, hand clapping good time. The Baldknobbers, Branson’s original show that is known for starting it all are still one of the finest on the strip. Branson has Dino, the world renowned pianist, and Shoji who can play a fiddle like no other and his theater is known for impressing his audience, right down to the bathrooms! And at Dolly Parton’s Dixie Stampede you can enjoy a great meal and a great show. You see Branson really does has something to offer everyone in the family!
