Can you give me a rough estimate for placing a water pressure regulator on my home?
We live in a town house complex. The plumber said he would have to shut off water pressure to the whole complex for about an hour to do this, said it might cost around $400 to do. I’ve seen these pressure regulators for less than $100 online.
I’m not a plumber, I want to have it done for me. I’m just trying to get a rough, ball park idea what a reasonable fee might be. Thanks.
Contact some other plumbers or handymen for estimates. Ask what they will charge for the pressure regulator, and if they will allow you to supply it.
