Shot glass display case – show your collections!
Introduction:
If you are habitual of collecting shot glasses, then at some point of time you may be requiring shot glass display case to keep them. You can either buy a shot glass display case from the store or can even make it of your own. By making your own case, you can save on money.
Instructions:
By using saw, cut two 2 by 4′s up to the length of 18 inches, three 2 by 4′s up to the length of 24 inches and then cut the sheet of plywood into the size of 24 by 18 inches.
Locate two of the 2 by 4′s of 24 inches horizontally while separating 18 inches from each other. Then, position 2 by 4′s of 18 inches on the edge sides of the plywood surrounded by 2 by 4‘s of 24 inches such that it will make a rectangular frame of 24 inches by 18 inches. Each and every 2 by 4′s should rest on the 2 inches measurement of the wooden frame. Then, insert the nails of 4 inches by using hammer into each 2 by 4′s so as to connect the frame.
Place the remaining 2 by 4′s of 24 inches at the center of the wooden frame horizontally. Again, insert nails of 4 inches by hammer into each and every side to fix the frame. Bring into line the plywood of 24 by 18 inches with the frame and hammer the nails of 4 inches to every corner and at the center of the 2 by 4′s.
At last, bring the shot glass display case into the ventilated area and squirt lacquer. The lacquer works as a protective layer which will keep away the wooden frame from rupturing.
