how to prep a fribercore balcony for painting?
It is a long shared balcony of an apartment building and it has chips of paint like water damage that I would like to prep before I prime and paint it…The structure itself has steel or wrought iron railings and I also need to paint that…..any and all suggestions would be appreciated….Thank you
To paint balcony ,First you should wash the balcony with soap water to decrease the surface ,then use primer epoxy for a cote preparing ,and at the end two cote epoxy paint (use for parking lots and swim pools) it cover all the cracks cause of rain and sun burn .
For steel bars you should wash and sand the bars till all the chipped paint and sharp edges get smooth the brush or spray them .
NOTE: Do the rail first and then floor .
