Carbon Fiber Sheets Can Make Music Instruments Look Unique
If you have been thinking about making your musical instrument look unique then you should consider overlaying it in carbon fiber sheets. While you can buy carbon fiber based instruments, they are very expensive and not many people can afford the real deal but that does not mean that you cannot have an instrument that looks like it is made from the real thing. You can even find it in different colors such as white, black and gray. - Guitars – Any electric or acoustic guitar can be made to look fabulous with just a simple vinyl wrap made from this material on them. The best part is that this type of application does not change the tone of the guitar in any way. All you need to do is remove the strings and hardware from the body of the guitar and apply the vinyl over it. Replace the hardware and your guitar looks like it is made from the real thing at a fraction of the cost of a real carbon fiber guitar.
- Equipment – More than just instruments can be wrapped with carbon fiber sheets. You can wrap your microphone stand with these sheets to make it look as if it is made out of the same material. Amplifiers can also be wrapped in this inexpensive material without changing the sound of the equipment. Sound boards, mix boards and speaker cabinets can all have the look of vinyl fiber for just a few dollars each when you purchase these sheets in bulk. Even stage sets and props can be covered in this material in order to give them a heavier look and more rock and roll feeling.
Any musician who wants a carbon fiber instrument but who cannot afford one can always get this look by using carbon fiber sheets made out of vinyl. These can be applied easily and do not ruin the natural finish of the instrument they are applied on. Instruments that are covered in this material look great and have a rock and roll appearance that may be lacking otherwise.
